About me

I am currently building compiler and runtime libraries at Bigstream, a startup company for big data acceleration.

Before this, I had the great pleasure to work as a research engineer at Qualcomm Research Silicon Valley, where I was working on the Pervasive Concurrency team to maximize the performance of heterogeneou multi-core platforms and develop advanced compiler technologies (Qualcomm MARE).

I did my Ph.D. work on Out-of-order Parallel Discrete Event Simulation for Electronic System-Level Design with Professor Rainer Dömer in the Center for Embedded Computer Systems (CECS) at University of California, Irvine from 2007 to 2013.

I have a B.S. (2004) and an M.S. (2007) in Computer Science and Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), China.

My research work focus on Parallel Computing and Compilers; Big Data Acceleration; System-level Modeling, Analysis, and Simulation.
