Overall, it's a step up from a cellular modem (no need to plug/unplug, etc). It also improves on previous generation cellular wireless routers with a rechargable battery (no need to plug it into an outlet) & is much tinier - apparently only as thick as 3 credit cards.
Of course, it's going to cost you $40/month for service just to check your email, etc; however, for the on the go techie w/o easily accessible internet access, this may be the accessory of year.
