New Faculty Member – Bryan Donyanavard

Bryan Donyanavard is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at San Diego State University. He received his BS and MS in Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, and his PhD in Computer Science from UC Irvine. He previously spent time as a researcher at TU Munich and Ericsson. He has spent time as an engineer at National Security Technologies, Oracle, and Google. Prof. Donyanavard’s research revolves around self-aware computing systems: he works to enable resource-constrained systems to make intelligent self-management decisions at runtime, typically for high-performance cyber-physical applications.
