The UC Irvine Office of Research has announced the awardees of the Research Seed Funding Program and four CECS faculty are among the recipients. Prof. Mohammad Al Faruque was awarded for his proposal titled “Critical Infrastructure Forensics (CIF)”, Prof. Zoran Nenadic for his proposal titled “An Implantable Brain-computer Interface System For Restoring Lower Extremity Movement And Sensation After Neural Injuries”, Prof. Ahmed Eltawil for his proposal titled “Self-interference Cancellation In Full-duplex System”, and Prof. Jeffrey Krichmar for his proposal titled “A Nueromorphic Robot That Interacts With People Through Tactile Sensing And Bi-directional Learning”.
